I'm a tutor who is currently based out of Las Vegas, Nevada, where I enjoy comedy, cycling, and traveling when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my PhD degree and am able to work with students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the subjects I've tutored recently in are English, Spanish, and standardized test preparation. I have experience working as a tutor in both Britain and the United States. I've worked as a resident tutor for undergraduates and have provided individual essay writing coaching for international students at the undergraduate level as well. Also, I've spent time working as an SAT tutor for Upward Bound, a program which supports first generation college applicants. In addition to my wealth of experience working as a tutor, I have a solid background in teaching and research. I've taught classes in Medieval and Renaissance Literature at the undergraduate level in both the USA and abroad. I believe that every student has the ability to reach their academic goals. That's why I'm so passionate about helping struggling students get the most out of their education. I'm looking forward to helping new students find success and achieve their goals.
