Received the High Honors Diploma from Shadow Ridge High School in 2006.
Experience
One of the main reasons I ventured into the world of tutoring these past few years was because I wanted to make a difference by helping someone grow and learn to become the person they need to be. I want to be that resource for others so they can achieve their highest potential. I have been working for the Clark County School District as a guest teacher (grades K-12) for the past 3 years; the prior year having my own classroom as a First Grade teacher. Also, I worked for A.D.A.P.T. Mental Health Agency as a Basic Skills Trainer to assist disadvantaged youth and lead them to a higher level of functioning. Last but not least, I held private tutoring sessions with students and parents. Some volunteer work I did in my spare time were: Massage Envy Healing Hands for Arthritis Event Massage Envy Massage for the Cure Event for breast cancer P.U.R.P.L.E. Wings Gala Fundraiser Event for at-risk girls

I love to travel and meet people from all walks of life while learning their culture. Reading is another passion of mine. It keeps me tapped into the world of imagination. You can probably catch sight of me at a Barnes and Noble picking up a good book. Big time outdoors person! I'm always ready for a great hiking challenge.
