Experience
I take personal pride in my students succeeding in every facet of life, whether it's academics or anything else. As I have been involved in several different activities, including the Boy Scouts, JROTC, and working as an elementary school volunteer, I am comfortable working with all types of students. I am able to teach subjects in science like chemistry and biology, as well as foreign languages and math. My JROTC past has given me three main values in life: Service before Self, Integrity First, and Excellence in all we do. The study of different cultures is very important to me, and I think understanding the language of a culture is the best way to learn about it. My core study is biology and pre-medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver, with minors in German and public health. I hope be a naval trauma orthopedic surgeon, and would like to be able to speak several foreign languages and work with patients from different areas across the planet.Many of my interests revolve around being outdoors, including camping, hiking, running, and fishing. This has a lot to due with my JROTC experience, as well as the fact that I am an Eagle Scout and a student pilot.
