I studied mathematics at the University of California at San Diego. I have always liked academia, and even in university I received awards for my academic success. I have a wealth of experience teaching high school mathematics. I have been working for the past two years at a charter school where I teach algebra, calculus, and geometry. I also have three years' experience teaching high school math to at-risk students, in addition to preparing them for various proficiency exams. I love teaching math, as well as helping students prepare for the ACT. I have experience working in the Las Vegas and San Diego school systems. When I am away from teaching, I like playing basketball and spending time with my wife and daughter.
