Experience
I am currently in my 10th year of teaching. I have spent 5 years of teaching middle school social studies in Las Vegas at an at-risk school with ELL students, and 3 years teaching middle school science at a parochial school in Evansville, IN. I am currently teaching high school US History, US Government and World Geography. I have experience tutoring K-4 students in math and language arts. I am able to teach test-taking strategies, organization habits and study skills. I have also taught government during summer school to high school students. My pre-internship and student teaching were all within the subjects of government, world history, and US history.

Hobbies
I am happily married, living on the Northeast side of Las vegas. My husband and I have three fur babies, our dachshunds, Auggie and Roscoe, and Junebug. We like to take mini-vacations to nearby destinations like Anaheim and Phoenix. Originally from Michigan, I miss the Great Lakes.
